Luc Boivin's involvement on the professional music scene has
not been limited to his roles as performer and director. Luc also composed
music, conceived shows and produced recordings. Lately, he even set up his
own recording studio, « Studio Tapageur ».
Thus, Luc has written (or co-writtent with keyboadrd player Jean
St-Jacques) score for stage productions as Norman Chaurette's « Le
Passage de l'Indiana », Victor-Lévy Beaulieu's « L'Héritage » and
television plays « Apatride », « Opression » and « Kushapashikan ».
In 1999, with guitarist Michel Cusson, Luc also wrote the score
for « Ulalena »,
presented at the « Maui Myth and Magic Theater »
in Hawaii. This important theater production explores the relationships between
people, nature and mythology.

Lately, Luc took part in
the production of two shows « From Rock to Opera » and
« Cinema Show », both presented at The Montreal and Atlantic
City Casinos.
As album producer, Luc was directly involved in
the production of recordings such as Scènes d'amour by Isabelle
Boulay, Live by Linda Lemay, Normand Brathwaite et les Têteux (in
collaboration with Michel Cyr), Du Rock à l'Opéra (recording
of a show at the Montreal Casino), Ulalena (sound track of the show
produced in Hawaii), and El
Extasis (world music).
