Studio Percussion Workshop.

This workshop will be a unique opportunity to develop your creativity in a recording studio setting with Luc Boivin, percussionist, music director and producer..

With more than 30 years of experience and hundreds of film music reconrding sessions, Luc Boivin will give a series of workshop sessions on creation and use of percussion instruments in different film music recording contexts. This totally unique workshop will be held for the first time à Studio Tapageur, July 13 to 24.

Learn in a professional studio the art of creating, contruct, orchestrate and make your own percussion arragements, in interaction with video images.

3 workshop levels will be offered: advanced, intermediate and beginner.

Yhe workshop will cover:

• percussion instruments texture;
• rhythms fusion;
• ambiance research;
  
• how to work with images;
• how to build and work with loops;
• how to orchestrate percussion overdubs.
